Civil Engineer

EVB Engineering is a Cornwall based firm with a client base across Ontario.  Our projects cover a vast array of municipal, commercial, land development, institutional and industrial clients.  We are currently searching for a motivated Civil Engineer to complement our team.  The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of project delivery including business development, proposal writing, design, communicating with clients and staff, and contract administration.

• Collaborate with a team of talented engineers and designers to develop comprehensive civil engineering designs, focusing on linear infrastructure, land development, and site plan design projects.
• Utilize Civil3D software to produce detailed engineering drawings and models.
• Coordinate with other disciplines in planning and executing project tasks.
• Visit sites to check on construction progress and inspect the works.
• Liaise with clients, agencies, architects, engineers, contractors, and other construction professionals.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals to address our clients needs.

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• P. Eng. designation with PEO preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of two (2) years of civil engineering design experience with focus on linear infrastructure, land development and site plan design projects.
• Proficiency in using Civil3D software preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and industry standards.
• Solid communication skills to effectivelycollaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Fast learner with the desire to grow professionally.
